High Speed Batch Mixers
High-speed premixing ensures efficient distribution of the many ingredients in a powder coatings formulation, with the added benefit of breaking down resin flakes to provide a uniform pre-blend. Trials have shown that high-speed premixing improves colour development and allows the same colour strength to be obtained with lower pigment concentrations. With a simple change of the blade, the mixer is converted to an industrial lab grinder / mill for powder coatings. Mixing cycles can be pre- set for repeatable batches. An optional control for PVC dry blends enables the mixer to switch to a cooled, low speed cycle once a pre-set temperature is reached.

Vacuum / Vent Port Stuffers
Vacuum / Vent Port Stuffers
Vent Port Stuffers provide a safe way to increase production whilst removing air, moisture and volatiles from the vent port, without losing process material. They reduce the need to review screw profiles and continue to work even when the barrel liners begin to wear, whilst also preventing material exiting through the vent port. This can be a costly problem leading to blocked vents, dropped strands and degrading ‘black specs’ on the end product.

Face Cut Pelletisers
Face Cut Pelletisers
Our Face cut pelletisers are suitable for production use and can comply with materials that are water soluble, such as food and other consumable products. Unlike our lab pelletiser systems, they feature a tube-based cooling system and the pellets are cut upon entry from the extruder, before they have cooled.
Features
Mounted on a anodize aluminium frame, Xtrutech Face-Cut Pelletisers have a 0.75kW cutter motor, with variable speed cutter of 0-1000 rpm.

Our control panel provides:
