Xtrutech’s Side Feeders offer reliable, high outputs with stable torque and running conditions. The torque is stabilised due to the consistency of the feed rate, so higher outputs can be achieved on most formulations.

This is particularly effective when processing low bulk density formulations or when working with high accuracy applications such as temperature or shear sensitive, abrasive, glass fibres, carbon black, organic pigments, fillers, and materials that require melt.

All side feeders (TSSF 30 and above) can now benefit from Xtrutech’s CIP integration. Xtrutech have developed our XTS CIP system to further reduce cleaning times for our customers. We have successfully achieved this by automating part of the cleaning process for our new feeder and hopper, with an automated CIP system suitable for all XTS production extruders.

Additionally, Xtrutech can also supply a variety of additional feeders including single screw, volumetric or gravimetric feeders depending on your production needs or preferences.
