Xtrutech’s Side Feeders offer reliable, high outputs with stable torque and running conditions. The torque is stabilised due to the consistency of the feed rate, so higher outputs can be achieved on most formulations. This is particularly effective when processing low bulk density formulations or recycling fines.

As a result, Xtrutech can now offer Fines Recycling using a specialised screw profile, specific barrel temperatures and TSSF Side Feeder. We can recycle up to 100% of fines preblended into a premix formulation from your Mill’s baghouse or Secondary Cyclone, and feed chips back into the Mill in the same batch.

All side feeders (TSSF 30 and above) can now benefit from Xtrutech’s CIP integration. Xtrutech have developed our XTS CIP system to further reduce cleaning times for our customers. We have successfully achieved this by automating part of the cleaning process for our new feeder and hopper, with an automated CIP system suitable for all XTS production extruders.

Additionally, Xtrutech can also supply a variety of additional feeders including single screw, volumetric or gravimetric feeders depending on your production needs or preferences.
