Reducing Reliance on Fossil Fuels
Xtrutech boast a comprehensive range of extruder lines which are specialised for biomaterials including PVOH, PLA, PVA, Cellulose, and Starch-based Polymers. By utilizing renewable feedstocks such as plant-based polymers, twin screw extrusion reduces reliance on fossil fuels and minimizes environmental impact.
Flexible Screw Configuration
Our co-rotating twin screw extruders promote efficient melting, dispersion of additives, and uniform distribution of fillers in the bio polymer matrix. Xtrutech extruder lines also offer flexibility in terms of screw configuration. We also provide degassing capabilities which are crucial for removing volatile components or moisture from the bio polymer melt.
